Two Birthdays Today!

Happy birthday today to my Mom! Happy birthday today to my Dad! How often does that happen - both of your parents birthdays on the same day?!

We haven't quite decided yet when we will celebrate Mom's birthday. It will either be this weekend or next weekend. Whenever it is, though, Mom, you can be sure I am thinking about you today! Sending you lots of love today. I am so glad and thankful to have you for my Mom and one of my best friends! It is a good thing that long distance phone calls don't charge by the minute any more. I like having our current phone plan, no matter how many calls, no matter how long they last, and no matter where you call to - the fee doesn't change. I enjoy being able to talk to you almost every day. If for whatever reason a day goes by that I don't talk to Mom, it seems like the day isn't complete.

Another one of my best friends is Grampy. No matter what the situation is - I can always talk to Dad. Some how he always seems to know if I am talking because I need advice or if I just need someone to listen to me. I don't know when we will be celebrating his birthday, either. We will be getting together at his house or our house for dinner one night in the next week or two.

Happy birthday to both of you. Thanks to both of you for always being there for me, for loving me when I wasn't so lovable and for being the awesome grandparents that you are now.
