We don't have a whole lot planned for the weekend. Lots of time with family and friends. Trucker, Princess and I started it out by going to Grampy and Miss Joy's Thursday night and making them Asparagus Carbonara for supper. Yesterday the King and I got some musky fishing in, no muskies though. Yesterday afternoon the King, Princess and I went to Office Max. The Princess bought herself a new digital camera. She bought one that does not need AA batteries, it uses a lithium battery like a cell phone. (I did not even know they made digital cameras that way.) She went to the fireworks last night and took several pictures, so the battery must last quite a while before it needs to be recharged. She forgot the cord for downloading the pictures to the computer at a friend's house, so I can't show you the pictures now. Maybe later today or next week.
The Trucker has been saving his lawn mowing money and ordered himself some new Craftsman tools, they arrived yesterday. As he and his Dad were checking them out in the living room, the King asked Trucker if he could have them when the Trucker died! That gave me a laugh, the Trucker got a smirk on his face that we see a lot when you say something dorky to him but he did not respond.
A friend from church gave Trucker a riding lawn mower. I guess his plan is to restore it. Trucker has been working on it for a few days, last night the King wanted to partake in the fun, too. I'm sure that will be getting more attention today and tomorrow. :)

This afternoon we are going to some friend's house for a picinic. From there it will be off to the fireworks.
As you can tell, no major activities; except for the new tools and camera! Lots of time spent together as a family. I love those times.
