Last Sunday we were playing Bible Trivia with the 3rd - 5th graders during Sunday school. The King wanted to pick out the prizes for the students. Everyone gets a prize, not just the winning team. He picked out this!

I did not have a clue what it was until he showed me how the fandangled thing worked. It turns into a screw driver. I thought it was a dorky prize, but the kids loved them! One of the girls even exclaimed, "My Dad is going to be jealous now!" I don't think we are supposed to be teaching the students how to make others jealous. Her Dad is a carpenter, I think he has at least one better screw driver!

Yesterday the King and I were in the nursery during the church service. I was playing in the kitchen area with a two year old girl, she was making me breakfast; french fries and peas. For dessert she gave me an ice cream cone. When the one year old boy heard "ice cream" he decided he wanted to play with us. I gave him the ice cream cone for a pretend bite, I don't think he has the concept of pretending down yet. He shoved the plastice cone in his mouth, tried to take a bite and promptly threw the cone on the floor with a disgusted look on his face when he did not get the desired result. The King and I had a good laugh over that one, the little boy saw no humor whatsoever. He didn't even want to continue playing with us.
Yesterday afternoon, the King and Trucker were going to work on the garage roof. We are putting on a metal roof. The King told Trucker to go change into his tennis shoes, then he would have better gription on the metal. I think gription is a combination of traction and grip, but do not know for sure.
