Saturday

We've all got our own Saturday activities going on today. I was sewing all afternoon, more on that next week.

Trucker had a friend spend the night last night. They went fishing until 8:00 last night and were back up at 4:30 this morning to go hit the water some more! They were back to the house around noon and been on the go ever since. After eating a big plate of ribs they even had energy to go jump on the trampoline. You don't want to see a picture of me jumping on the trampoline after eating, it would not be pretty!

The Princess had to work today. Now she is home, laying on the floor, reading a book and annoying Toad. Maybe she will be home for the night. Once they get their license and gas money you don't see much of them!

The King, smokin' and readin'!

The King has been smoking ribs all day. He is still smoking ribs. It looks tough, doesn't it? ha!ha! My Uncle made this smoker out of an old refrigerator. Pretty neat, don't ya think? The shelves are in there just like when it was used to keep food cold, that is where we put the meat that is to be smoked. The fire and wood chips are on the bottom. We keep an oven thermometer in there that needs to checked every ten or fifteen minutes to regulate the heat. It takes four to six hours to smoke the ribs, but it is worth it. Oh man, are they some good eatin'!
