Nice Surprise

Do you know what those containers are from? The Princess surprised us tonight and brought home Chinese food for supper! Yum!Yum! As you can tell from the picture we ate before I thought to take a picture. It is always a nice surprise when you find out at the last minute that you don't have to cook supper! Thanks, Princess.

Yesterday Trucker and I spent the day shampooing the carpets. After the Ziggy escapade (refer to yesterday's post) the carpets desperately needed a good cleaning.

We got a letter from the school today informing us when school would start, what materials were needed and how much $$ was needed. They send these letters out every year, I know that it is coming, but it always makes summer seem like it is over when you get that letter. Even if the start of the year is almost a month away yet, that letter still makes it seem like summer is over. The time has gone by fast, it is hard to believe that the Princess and Trucker will both be in high school this year. On the other hand, it will be nice having them both in the same school, cuts down on the running around.

I need to get off of here now. The Princess's friend, H., is coming out to play cards with us. Last time she came out, she and the Princess beat the King and I. We can't let that become the norm!
