I enjoyed all three of these books. They are definitely chick books, though. All three of them revolve around a few different ladies and what is going on in their lives at the time; and the friendships they form because of their situations.
The books start out in a yarn shop with the ladies taking a knitting class. You get to know the four main characters and then the story goes on with their issues. All situations we ladies find close to our hearts. Issues dealing with husbands, death of a spouse, raising children, not able to have children or trying to find their way back into the working world after raising children.
I know that Debbie Macomber has also authored romance novels. I have never read any of those, I am not a big fan of romances. I did like these books though. For some light and easy reading go to your library and check out The Shop on Blossom Street, A Good Yarn and Back on Blossom Street.
It looks like phlox to me. I can't see the leaves. Does it have a heavy aroma? Phlox have a very distinct aroma.
