Flabbergasted was a fun, easy, humorous and fictional book. The main character is a twenty-something man who moves into a new town and decides to visit churches to meet the ladies. There wasn't any theological depth to the story, but it was good for some laughs. The lady he ends up falling for is a missionary in South America - a long way from the Carolinas where he lives.
Even though he started going to church for the wrong reasons (is there a wrong reason to go to church?), God was able to teach him what needed to be changed in his life. Whether it is our first time going to church or if we have been going to church for years; God can still show us things that need to be changed in our lives. Sometimes we are quite happy with the way things are and He will show us things we need to change!

Check out these new m&m's the Princess brought home last week. Coconut m&m's! If you like coconut, you better get out and look for these yummy treats! I did manage to get the bag to last two days, but it was tough.
Hey Bug, what kind of car is that on the book cover? NO, don't peak. You should know this.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of cars-WOW-you should have been with us at the car club meeting last night. I know its not your favorite thing, but this one even you would like. It was like a museum, but not just cars. There were hundreds of beer signs, petal cars (too many to count), manicans and little senarios. Just amazing. His big trucks are cool too. And there was one pickup just made for our Trucker. An actual Peterbilt with a pickup box and duellies. AND CHROME. My favorite color!! I could load the back with those new M&Ms. I'll have to look for them.
I did know what kind of car that is, Mom. It is a big, ugly car!! Ha!Ha! Did you find any coconut m&m's? You'll like them.
