Is This The One?

Here is the table runner I made for our future niece's bridal shower. It was a fast and easy runner to make, so fast and easy that I got most of it done the day of the shower! Thanks to a little (or a lot) of help from Carol and the Princess. It was a Terry Atkinson pattern. I love her patterns, they are so easy to follow.

Our visit with Mom and Marv is almost over. Bummer. We got a lot of work out of them this week. Marv painted the trim on our garage. Mom reupholstered our dining room chairs. I love it when they come and visit. I almost forgot, Marv cleaned the garage today and Mom did dishes for us all week, too.

Tonight we looked at a house that they might be interested in buying up here! Just think, I could have them around all the time. As we were looking at the house tonight; I could picture Mom and I baking Christmas cookies together in her kitchen. I could picture myself sitting on my butt in her living room watching football games after church while she made us dinner! Maybe this will be the house...
