Minnesota Quilt Show

Today I will be busy doing some baking for church. I need to get some laundry done. I need to bake some bread. I should probably clean the kitchen and bathroom floor. Tonight the King has a softball game. I need to get every thing done because tomorrow I am leaving on a mini vacation!

Mom, Carol (the King's Mom) and I are going to the Minnesota Quilt Show in Duluth. None of us has ever gone to this quilt show before. I don't know if my Mom has ever been to a quilt show. Carol and I went to a small one last fall. We don't really know what to expect. A friend of Carol's gave us a little insight, though. The friend and her sister go every year for one day. She told Carol that they start with the vendors and quite often don't even make it to the quilts! She also said we might want to bring a little money!

I'm looking forward to this weekend. I will see some family that I have not seen for quite some time. I will get to spend a day with my Mom and my mother-in-law. I'm sure our day will be filled with lots of oooohing and aaaahing, some laughing and a good lunch some where. I might even get a night of camping in. The plan is to not have a plan. Other than getting to the quilt show for a day, the rest of the weekend is going to be spent doing whatever I feel like doing at the time. Gotta love a weekend like that.

Things are exciting for the rest of the family, too. Tomorrow is the last day of school. Trucker is on an all day field trip today. They will get home late enough tonight that they don't even have to go to school tomorrow. Tomorrow he will be spending the day with a friend. Saturday he will be doing some paint balling with another friend. The Princess only has to be in school for first block tomorrow for one final exam, then she is off with friends for the rest of the day. Friday her regular work schedule will begin, they have only been open on the weekends the last few weeks. Beginning Friday they will be open every day and I'm assuming she will be working five or six days a week. Saving money up for college. I took Trucker to a lady's home yesterday to look over her lawn, this will be another lawn that he will be taking care of this summer. He also will be putting money aside for whatever he decides to do after high school. As for The King's excitement? He gets to drive Trucker all around this weekend and try to keep track of everybody's schedules. He was already quizzing me this morning on where everyone was going to be over the weekend. In between driving the Trucker around, he has two baseball games he wants to watch and a graduation party that he hopefully will make it to. Thankfully the Princess has her license, he doesn't have to drive her around, he just needs to know where she'll be all the time!

I don't know if I'll be blogging any more this week or not. I will have way to many places to go, things to do and people to see.

Don't forget to be thinking about your twenty wishes! Let me know what you come up with.

Let the summer begin!
