Today I am posting from Mom and Marv's house! Trucker, his friend W, the Princess and I got down here last night. This weekend is Back to the 50's in St. Paul, Minnesota. Trucker and W were up and showered before 7:00 this morning ready to go to the big car show. After a yummy breakfast of fried ham and eggs; Mom, Marv, Trucker and W are on their way.
The Princess and I have better things to do than go wander around in the heat and humidity looking at old cars with thousands of other people. We think we hear an air conditioned mall calling our names! We have a wedding to attend next weekend and the Princess needs a new shirt to wear.
It was already 72* here at 6:30 this morning with 75% humidity! Not at all what we are used to. We are thinking that an air conditioned mall, a Barnes & Noble and an Olive Garden or Red Lobster will work perfect for us!
F.Y.I. Don't let two teenage guys in a truck stop by themselves. After drinking a gallon of root beer on the way down yesterday, Trucker informed me he needed to use a restroom. I pull into a truck stop, Trucker and W go inside while the Princess and I wait in the van. And waited and waited and waited. I was beginning to wonder if I should go in and make sure that they are okay. They come out twenty minutes later with big grins on their faces telling us of all the things that there was to look at in there. They looked at tools, lights, food and straps. That is some pretty exciting stuff!
