I know today is only Wednesday, but I'm looking forward to the weekend. We got an unexpected call yesterday from Dan the Man, he is coming up tomorrow and staying thru the weekend! Woohoo! Not only will we have some fun company around, but lots of baseball/softball games going on, too. The King helps coach our high school baseball team and he has a game Thursday night, at home. I work at the church office on Thursdays, then after work I pick up a friend to take her shopping and help her run errands. The Trucker has his own little lawn care business and Thursday after school I have to get him to a house to do spring clean up. The Princess has an away game Friday night. The King has a double header Saturday, at home. I have three cakes that I want to bake for church by Sunday. I also need to prepare a Sunday school lesson by Sunday. The next few days will be busy, but a fun busy! Having a friend come and spend a few days with us, watching my family involved in activities they enjoy and baking for church are all some of my favorite things.
With all of that said, I need to get off of here and get my rear in gear around the house. Other than making sure we have food to eat, not much else will get done around the house for a few days! That means blogging could be rather sporadic, too.

Candy, menopause is a piece of cake. And a pound of fudge. And a handful of cookies. No wonder I want to lose ummm ten plus pounds before Nate and Michelle's wedding.

Thanks so much, once again, for taking care of my boy. We appreciate your family so much. Why don't you ask him to teach the Sunday school lesson? Put him to work!
Cheri - You are too smart! Only I didn't read your comment until Monday morning, too late to have Dan the Man do the lesson. Oh well, we had other fun and exciting things to do. Don't worry about the ten pounds, you always look good.
