Game and Rain Ends at the Same Time

The internet weather page called for rain all day today. From the time I got up at 5:30 this morning, it looked like it was going to rain any minute. I was in the church office by 7:30 and did not step back outside until 2:30pm. It still looked like it was going to rain, was quite humid out, you could just feel the moisture in the air, but was not raining yet. I had to go in town to pick up a friend and take her shopping - still no rain. Maybe it will hold off. I finish the shopping and have to drive back home to grab a jacket and get back in town for a softball game. On the way home, it starts to pour. I am waiting for the Princess to call my cell and tell me the game has been cancelled, she does not call. As I get to the school, the rain has stopped. By the second inning, it starts to rain pretty hard for a while, then rains on and off for the remainder of the game. We don't own an umbrella. Thankfully some of our friends are smarter than we are and came prepared! Thanks Chuck, Brad and Mickey! The game ends and the sun comes out. Go figure! That was okay though because I got home quick and still had time to take the hound doggers for a walk before it got dark out!
