First Day at Mom's!

Trucker and I made it down here last night without any problems. Thank the Lord for this. I have a tendency to get flat tires on a regular basis, so am always glad to get where I want to go. I think I have had six flat tires in the last two years!

Mom had an Easter basket waiting on the table for me. It was full of fat quarters, chocolate and patterns. We took a pic of it with Mom's camera and got the pic into her computer and I am trying to get the picture into here for you to see, but can't get blogger to work. Blogger is probably working fine, it is probably me not working right! You will have to wait to see the picture, but by then the picture won't be the same. The chocolate will be missing, the fat quarters used up and the patterns put in a safe place! What a gal she is though!!

Today Mom, Marv, Trucker and I went to visit my step-sister, Sandy, who lives near Minneapolis. She has been living in her home for a couple of years, but I have not seen it yet. Beautiful! She has done so much remodeling of it by herself; such as adding stone to the outside of her home, tiling around the fireplace, re-doing her bathrooms, painting, plastering or drywalling or something like that. Some other things that I don't even remember. I was impressed! What an encouragement she was to me to want to get into a home improvement project when I get home. I hope this passes before I get back home! The Princess and King were talking about painting the living room while I am gone. Maybe they did that and I won't have to get into any projects. We don't want to get too much done in one month!

Any body know how I can get pics out of Mom's computer into my blog? We tried cutting and pasting, didn't work. I am working on Mom's computer, maybe Blogger don't like Mom's computer. Any suggestions, let me know!
