Met My Goal?

As I am working on today's post, I am also trying to get the pics in again. We will see how that goes for us today. Maybe you will see them and maybe you won't!

I have a few goals that I am working on, as I'm sure you all do, too. A few of mine are trying to lose a little weight, get back into walking on a regular basis now that it is warmer out, cleaning out some junk that has been in our house forever (some of it has been laying around for so long I don't even know where it came from!) ... and for the biggest goal...being more like Jesus.

As I was reading in Mark last night, I realized I do have something in common with Jesus. I can say I know exactly how he felt.

"At about this same time he again found himself with a hungry crowd on his hands." Mark 8:1 The Message

How is that for being like Jesus?! I think many of you can now say you are like Jesus, too! Does my family meet the requirement of being a crowd? How about when we have had five, ten, fifteen of the youth at our house along with our family? Does that make a crowd? I say yes! It just cheered me up last night knowing that I was like Jesus!

It did strike me as humorous last night when I read that and thought I know just how you feel Jesus. Other than that, I have a long way to go to be like Jesus. I will keep working on it, along with the rest of my goals.

Blogger loaded one of my pictures for you to look at today! Woohoo! I am working on another picture now, we will see how that goes. Wowsers! It just gave me another picture! Today must be my lucky day! Do we dare shoot for a third picture? Shoot, get it? Shoot a picture? Okay, never mind, that is just me being weird today!

Trapping basket the Princess made for her brother! Now you see why it took her almost all day to work on! She has more patience than I do - I would not want to stand there all day and weave! Well, maybe I would do it for the Trucker!
Tote bag I sewed for Miss Joy. I put a big brown button on the tan colored strip, just to cuten (cuten, is that a word?) it up a little after the Princess took the picture.

Ohhhhh dogggeeeee! Blogger is in a good mood today! We are almost done with all of the pictures! Only the King's basket to go.

Now you have it! Our Saturday's adventures, and it only took me three days to show you.

  1. You guys are such a crafty family. I think the basket that sits next to my computer is from Ste..er..your king. :)
