This is what you do to end a 30 Hour Famine. You come home and take a nap on the couch with your favorite hound dogger! Actually, our Princess didn't quite do the whole 30 Hour Famine. Miss Joy's birthday is a few days before mine and we usually get together for dinner. This year we did not have a chance for all six of us to get together until today. We picked the Princess up a few hours early so she could join the rest of us for a scrumptious dinner - shrimp etouffee with corn bread and cherries with dumplings. I have just enough leftovers for my lunch tomorrow. I hid them at the back of the fridge! Shhhh....My Momma didn't raise no dummy.
It's good to see that Toad is watching over our Princess! And save some of that shrimp for me.
ReplyDeleteToad will watch over anybody who will let him, Walk does not call him the "Cute and Cuddly Couch Hound" for nothing! As for the shrimp - too late! That was lunch after church yesterday. He who eats the fastest gets the mostest! And the fattest!
