Valentine's Day

I saw this on The Butler's Wife's blog. You can get there from my side bar. I thought it looked like fun to do! Now you will know all you ever wanted to know about us!

♥How long have you been together? We have been married for 17 years.

♥ How long did you know each other before you started dating? 12 years.

♥ Who asked who out? I don't think either of us asked one or the other out. We had been friends for years, and then things just went from there!

♥ How old are each of you? The King is 45 and I am 39.

♥ Whose siblings do/ did you see the most? His siblings the most.

♥ Do you have any children together? Yes, a daughter who is 15 and a 14 year old son.

♥ What about pets? Yes, one golden retriever named Ziggy, one basset hound named Toad and one cat named Dopey.

♥ Did you go to the same school? For a short time when he was in middle school and I was in elementary school, because of the age difference we did not have classes together! We did know each other though.

♥ Are you from the same home town? No, not the same home town, but lived in the same town for four years, then his family moved.

♥ Who is the smartest? Tough question, we both have our areas where we know what we are talking about! He probably has more of those areas though!

♥ Who is the most sensitive? I am.

♥ Where do you eat out most as a couple? We like to try different places, so I can't say that we have one place that we frequent more often than another place.

♥ Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple? I think our furthest trip was from Wisconsin to South Dakota. We also traveled to Canada once, I don't know for sure which was the furthest from our home.

♥ Who has the worst temper? I didn't know the answer to this one. Our daughter says I get mad more often, but get over it quicker than my Valentine does!

♥ Who does the cooking? I think I do more of the cooking, but the King does his fair share of it, too. He is an awesome cook!

♥Who is the neat freak? I wouldn't say either of us is a neat freak, but I do like things tidier than he does.

♥ Who is the more stubborn? Me.

♥ Where was your first date? I don't really remember! As we did more things together, our friendship just slowly turned into more of a serious thing!

♥ Who has the bigger family? Don't know how to answer this one. I have one step-brother and three step-sisters, but did not grow up with them. He has two sisters and and one brother.

♥ Do you get flowers often? No. That is okay though because he makes me some tremendous dinners and my favorite breakfast; fried potatoes with cheese, onions and garlic!

♥ How do you spend the holidays? The last few years we have been home over Christmas with Mom and Marv coming to stay with us for the week of Christmas. Some weekend in January we get together with the King's folks, his sisters and their families.

♥ How long did it take to get serious? Several months, I think we were both afraid to take the plunge in case it didn't work and we wrecked our friendship that we had had for years.

♥ Who eats more? The King!

♥ Who’s better with the computer? Me, but not by much. Neither of us are very techy!

♥ Who drives when you are together? We both do. I probably do a little more of the driving because he does a lot of driving for his job.
