I love checking the mail when I know I have a prize coming! Especially when it is a homemade prize from my Mom. She made these two Valentine's Day penny rugs for the Princess and I.
Aren't they cute? Isn't she good? I guess we should have taken two individual pictures, but you still get the idea. That is a candle in the center of them. One will go in our kitchen on a shelf above the sink and the other in our dining room.
I tell her I don't want her to get bored, so I send her these patterns when I see ones I think are cute! Now that I know she is done with the Valentine's Day penny rugs, I can send her the pattern for a spring bunny that I found. And the pattern for a snowman, and a fat cat and a scarecrow! We will make sure you have things to keep you busy for a while, Mom!
Don't you blog people wish you could send a pattern out and have it come back all made? You can try sending a pattern to my Mom and see if you get any thing back!
Oh, I almost forgot. Along with our rugs was a sandwich bag full of candy hearts! What a Mom, your the best! Thanks again, Mom, they are really cute.
Hey Bug! I didn't know I had a choice. You told me "do them or else". Really they were fun to do. And you should see the collection of felt that I'm acquiring. I guess I get to look for yellows now. Yellow is an Easter color, isn't it? Marv is amazed (is that a complement?) when I get one done and he sees all the tiny stitches. Sounds like I'll have a break after the bunny and before the cat or scarecrow. I'm glad you like them. Remember, one is for the princess!
