It is finally done. Well, kind of. I had trouble on the corners, so I am going to ask the King’s Mom to help me fix those. I will see Carol over Thanksgiving, only two days before the baby shower that I need this quilt for. Hopefully she can work her magic and the corners will be much better.

Since it is not perfect, they will know it was homemade! As with any gift I make for anyone, I prayed for the recipient. I prayed that this little baby will grow up knowing Jesus. I prayed for the baby’s health. Many prayers went up for the parents, Joe and Megan. I asked God to give them wisdom in raising this little life, to give them patience, to set a Godly example for their baby and for lots of love in their home.

A few days ago I posted about the backing for this quilt. I went with the Princess’s advice and used pastel material for the backing. I don’t know if you can tell from the picture, but the back is peach with little white polka dots. Imagine that, she picked out something with polka dots!

Now that I am done with this quilt, it is time to get started on Trucker’s again. I think I only have 240 strips left to cut. Ughhhhh! Maybe I will wait for Mom and Marv to come visit and talk her into cutting strips!!
