Happy Birthday, Marv!

Happy birthday, Marv! One of the biggest lessons I learned so far came from Marv. No matter what the situation is - always keep calm. He told me several years ago, you have to keep calm. If you get all nerved up and start running around like a chicken with your head chopped off, you cannot think clearly. That is pretty obvious when you think about it, but many times people still have a tendency to get nerved up and not think clearly. There have been quite a few instances over the years when I had to remind myself to keep calm and do what needs to be done. When the situation is taken care of, then you can fall apart or run around like a chicken with your head chopped off or whatever else you do when things are not going the way they are supposed to be going!

Trucker made these cookies for us one day last week. Actually, I think he made them for himself but the rest of us helped ourselves to some of them. Every body makes jokes about me making a batch of cookies and only getting fifteen cookies because I kept picking at the dough. (I would rather eat cookie dough than a baked cookie.) The Trucker also only gets fifteen cookies out of a recipe, but that is because he makes the cookie dough balls the size of baseballs! They were some awesome eatin' though!
